It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that God makes the seed grow. - 1 Corinthians 3:7
Hickory Greenway Harvest is a nonprofit project that has secured some unique partners. The SALT Block
Foundation, Service In Action and Raising Roots Farm. These organizations represent a full on frontal assault to assist the community at large. They are all interested in helping those in need throughout our community while using education, community action, and leadership as tools to bring our community together! HGH wants to work with any organization that has these tenets as part of their mission. We are assisting other nonprofits like the Hickory Soup Kitchen, Safe Harbor Rescue Mission/Women’s Shelter and Catawba County DSS. If you would like to support HGH, please contact us, become a volunteer or donate money to our organization.
HGH donated 1275 pounds of fresh vegetables contributing to 3378 meals in 2018. This does not include totals from Safe Harbor and Hickory Soup Kitchen harvest. This is in addition to all the Community Service work that has been done by our HGH Volunteers. Over 5000 Combined Volunteer Hours in 2018. Thanks to all our Volunteers!
